Nikki Sutterby was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, USA. Her biggest influence comes from her upbringing by a loving family who encouraged her passion for art and exposed her to as many cultural offerings as possible. She frequented the area's theme parks, natural spaces, and other attractions such as the Space Coast. Here, she was transported to worlds of fantasy--often with bright, extreme color palettes depicting far off places. In the serene Florida landscape, she could ground herself with organic forms. She is currently creating new worlds to live in.
